That's quite ok @Tracey&Jones , my vet also says to treat the pancreatitis with fluids and that will take care of the anemia. I'm compiling a list of questions etc but need to read Tanya's article again first.

Though my vet indicated along with his IM that there was nothing we could do to assist outside of relieving the underlying issue. Good luck with the oncologist. Take a note pad or something to record the conversation. Tons of info might be coming your way and it can be a lot that hits you right away.

True but this is I believe the first bout with pancreatitis I thought.

Kris, do you remember when Buddy had a partial pancreatomy last year. The doctor took him to surgery saying he saw a mass, which turned out to be his inflamed pancreas. After that I have seen articles saying that an inflamed pancreas can be seen on an US as a mass.
