Boomer ate the usual last night, waking us around 3:30 (+8.5) because he was hungry but didn't want to eat his +6 fuds (although he would if we got up and stirred them). Today I'm changing the timer of his auto feeder so that his +9 will actually be available at +8.5.
Boomer's drop yesterday surprised me; although he does occasionally work the juice the day of the increase, it's more usual for it to be the following day. He knew, of course, that both DH and I would be away at the same time (for a short period of time). Cats!
Allen ate well last night. His b/w results are back; he has pancreatitis.....Spec fPL 11.5 normal range is 0.0 - 3.5 ug/L
He is also anemic ......Hemoglobin 78 normal range 103 - 162 g/L
I believe the kidney disease is stable but I'm not good at reading these reports so I'll be questioning Dr Larry further about this.
He's not feeling well this morning. He was laying in his little bed when I opened his door this morning. He felt cold to me so I got a hot water bottle, put it under a blanket on the bed and put him beside it. He wasn't responding to me much at all although I don't get the impression he's in pain (he's stretched out, not meat loafing ). When I took his breakfast in to him I put it on the bed right beside him; I didn't expect him to respond but then I saw his nose move as he smelled the food and he got up and started eating.
Our little guy has a lot going on and we may have to say goodbye soon.
Tomorrow is DH's appt with the oncologist-radiologist. We have to be there at 9:15 (+2.25).
