Where did you post your review - I'd love to read it - I'm going thru all sorts of meters at the moment...I have the newest one from Walmart - didn't care for it at all..Relion Premiere I think it's called - might post that one on the for sale board - I used it all of once or twice - have the strips too...sheesh...I'm using 4 meters at a time right now ... poor Luci :(

I was looking at every meter and had no idea which one to buy. When the OnSync came up, the price was right so I thought I'd give it a try. As I said, I'm very impressed so far.
 
I just peaked at your SS. So, it looks like Luci dropped to a 39 with one meter but not the others. Same blood sample? Will you take the 39 as the number and reduce? The caveat is which number do you recognize? It looks like she got a 30 on the PM cycle of the 3rd and you didn't reduce. Multiple meter use can make you nutsy. :eek:

I found the OnSync today at Meijers for $19.99 - I passed...I'd like to give it a try - maybe at $9.99 I would have...but the meter + a pack of strips would have been around $30...I'm spending way too much on meters...I'd like to know what the strips look like though. Can you post a pic of one of the strips - I'm interested to see how big the area is that takes up the blood. Or you can send in a PM if you prefer.

I'm leaning toward taking the middle number on all her readings...the Relion Prime number right now is the number I'm going to use as my 'action number'. I posted a week or so ago - when I got the Prime that the Confirm has really been reading lower for the most part than the Prime...and I'm not going to give her a reduction on the Confirm unless there's a complete and total agreement with the Prime - that's when I get out my Pet Meter - as it's more accurate than any of the human meters I'm comparing - the action number there is anything less than 68. She got close on 10/29 but didn't go under - so no reduction.

I'm going to continue to watch her, monitor with multiple meters as long as the strips hold out for the Confirm. That will conclude my multiple meter tests - and I'm hoping to settle on a meter by then. One more has been ordered and is in the mail...and of course the Pet Meter will be used anytime she gets into those low numbers...

These multiple meters are lined up and ready to go - we use the same sample on all meters...Luci is being very patient/tolerant of me...thankfully!

I'm not feeling at all like the multiple meters are making me 'nutsy'...I'm interested in the data that I'm collecting - and to the end result hoping to get a meter that's a bit more realistic than the Confirm - which I feel has been giving me unreliable data (too low) for quite some time and we rinse/repeat the same routine - perhaps based on bad data for months now...time for a change.
