Vet has increased Toonces to 3 units after having me do a 12 hour curve yesterday. I know those on this forum typically do not like such large dose increases but would like some thoughts on what is going on based on his spreadsheet (and also how often I should test going forward).

He seemed to really not be responding at all to the 2 units. I’m starting to become concerned that perhaps his high blood glucose is being caused by something else.

I would be very careful with such a big increase. If you look at Rex's SS early in 2017, you can see how I increased by 0.5u and his numbers immediately started to come down into blues and greens.

Ugh- now I am freaked out. I just took his +6 and it’s 111. Lowest it has ever been... what should I do? Monitor every hour?

I am glad you fed, but don't feed too much. In case you need to feed him some more later. In case you need it, do you have high carb food or karo/honey/syrup around? I would test again in an hour. Looks like this dose might be too much. With the data I can see, I would have increased to 2.25 units, not 3.0.

ETA: please keep the spreadsheet and subject heading up to date with the latest numbers. That lets us know at a glance that you might need help.
