Yemala 10/29 PMPS 219; +1 211; +3 147; +5 115; +6 130

Is this a bounce? Is this about duration petering out before her AMPS?

Could be some of both or either....but it's good to see her coming down but not into dangerous numbers today!

Would be wonderful if she'd just dip her toes in the greens and then surf for awhile!!

We didn't get up for the onset testing. Before I get any grief about that, last night was the annual Rocky Horror Picture Show visit with teen boy, and we were up LATE.

Since her dose, Mala has now dropped 200 pts. Not anticipated.

I’m not into judgement or guilt :) She’s your cat, we have lives.

Let’s see how she does tonight. If she doesn’t see some green, we should talk about a dose change for tomorrow.

That's pretty much the same as the PMPS....It's nice to see that instead of a big drop!! Hopefully she'll continue dropping slowly instead of taking a big nose dive!

That's what I was thinking, too. It's currently just shy of +2, but the last check was really a +1.5, so I'll wait until later to check her again.

Meanwhile, she's got an appetite on her, and a mouth, and eats anything we give her. She started potassium supplements yesterday, and doesn't seem to notice them. She's gained weight since September and even since her last vet check. I am cautiously optimistic.

Not sure if she can pull off green tonight or not.

As I recall, you all are not available for testing tomorrow or Tuesday. Normally we would be thinking about a dose increase but it seems safer to me to leave the dose as it is until you are available. What do you think?

Yeah, she said a few days ago Monday and Tuesday were bad.

I agree it looks like a little more juice might be needed but with Mala's fast drops, it's best to wait.

I can do a slight dose increase for tomorrow. I won't be home from noon until 8, but my son will and my husband can drop by. I was thinking about finding a sweet spot between .25 and .5, if possible.

Tuesday will be difficult. I can be home between noon and 2:30, but husband can only check in briefly during the times I'm not around. I'm gone Tuesday from 3 until 8, I tutor at 9:30, and I have to ferry foster boys to a vet early in the morning. No one can test between 9:00 and, probably, noon, which is around the time she hits her nadirs.

Should we wait for a dose increase until Wednesday, or try a very slight increase tomorrow?

As I look at the numbers for the past two days, I think I'm seeing a lack of duration rather than bounces. Is that possibly correct? I feel like more data is necessary to be sure, as two days ago, she had a largely yellow cycle before falling into the blues, but no greens since the 26th. That would say a slight tweaking of dose would be in order, but not back to a .5 as she takes these amazing tumbles. If the 27th was a bounce, it cleared faster than any other we've seen.

With the way she can dive early, I think it's probably best to wait until either Tuesday night or Wednesday morning so you can be there to catch it if she starts to drop early in the cycle.
