Hello!

Little Ra is having a small go at going off the juice since SLGS has placed him into remission. I am not to positive that this is going to be the true trip to the falls for my little guy, but it may give us an idea as to how low we can go with diet only. I hope I am doing the right thing.

That's exciting!
Little Ra owns you, and Tiny Solé owns me. Two little suns orbiting around us.
...Ra is the sun god, if I'm not mistaken...

I'm going to look at your SS for encouragement!

YES! Two little adorably furry suns! It looks as if you are headed for the falls too. May our little buddehs be there together soon!

hmm, I hate to be a party pooper, but it does look like Little Ra could use some more insulin support. Is she pooping okay? Constipation can make their numbers go up. I don't like seeing today's all blue day without any trip into the lagoon.

My sentiments exactly. So no surprise there, honestly. I toyed with the idea of going TR with him since he likes to dip under 90 often. The only kicker is that I am really far away from any veterinary support since we live up in the mountains, (2 hours to an ER vet) so I don't want to fiddle with numbers too low without any back up support. As for pooping. I think so? I can't really say. I can keep an eye out. Would you think it would be a good idea to go back to .1?

I think I would start with .1

As far as being too far away from a vet, if you have a well appointed hypo kit, lots of extra test strips, HC food and MC food, some syrup if needed, and if you got into a too low of a number situation, you'd post and ask for help and someone would be there with you to help guide you to keep Little Ra safe.

Print out the instructions on how to handle lower numbers and tape it inside a cabinet door. Between being informed and having this board to help you, you can do it! I know you can. :bighug:
