Good morning, everyone! Monday, Monday!

Tiny's 10/14 post PMPS at +11 was 192, then I decided to test right before feeding this morning, and she was at 158. After food she bumped up to 194 so I gave her 3.50 U of insulin. Normally, she takes her shot well, this morning...lots of protesting, biting and scratching. I have Feliway on a towel sitting right next to her to help for the next BG tests.

I'm happy to see the blue numbers and anticipate seeing more today, if she feels like it.
It's nice to see that she is finally responding.
I will test often this AM, as I'm trying to take the week off from work, but will need to pop in there later today and tomorrow. Oy.

I will update the spreadsheet as I test.

My heart goes out to Ana and Beck at the loss of their beloved furkids.
Life can sure come at us hard.
XOXO
Gratefully, Joanne

I'm curious about the Feliway on the towel. I've been thinking of trying a Feliway diffuser or the spray to calm Sammy for shots and tests. A comfort towel sounds like a great idea. Does it help? Thank you!

Will get back to everyone a little later and will update the spreadsheet as well, by 8:30 PM.

Had to go into work...so much for taking vacation!...and had to get Cookie to the ER today.
I'm off to pick her up and will catch up and answer questions tonight.

Thanks to all, always. I appreciate the looking out for us!

XOXO, Joanne + Little Sun! ;)

It really does seem to help.
We have used the diffusers and the spray.
I like the spray because 1. it's not always "plugged in" and cooking, and 2. I spray old washcloths and towels and leave them in places where I think are advantageous.
And the towel goes on the ride with us whenever we go to the Vets.

I'm a fan!
XOXO, Joanne

I will update the spreadsheet as I test.

Well, the day got away from me, although I did test and put the numbers on the spreadsheet.
Running in the 200s today, which wasn't a bad thing, since I had Cookie in the ER this afternoon, from 2 PM until...we just got home at 10:30 PM!
...the million dollar cats...

I'll get a late-night BG in with Tiny and put it on the sheet before I head to bed.
I'm a bit tired, so will pick up where I left off tomorrow.

Cookie is home, and doing much better than she had been this morning! Fingers and paws crossed.

XOXO, Joanne + Tiny Sole ...and Cookie too!
