October 5, 2018 Condo - Moonlight swim at the lagoon!

Good morning all!
Lou finally made it back to the lagoon last night! The first time since 9/28! While I know it would happen eventually, I am so relieved to see those greens on the spreadsheet. I thought it might be a quick toe dip, but he surfed for quite a while (still is!). We'll see if he won't go right into a bounce today, but I'm still excited all the same! :D:D:D

As for the beans we have an Oktoberfest party to go to tonight. Unfortunately, we didn't get around to getting any costumes. Oh well, we'll still have fun. :p

And now for the bounce...all these kitties today going down! Did you notice how many decided to go low, low today? Including Miss Luci - I swear that cat is reading over my shoulder!!! After I left for my meeting this morning - Luci decided to go shark hunting - no warnings whatsoever...fooled DH into thinking everything was just peachy and he didn't test her until 20 minutes after her 2+ .... I'm so aggravated...I guess I can never leave the house :( :(
 
Well, he's at 301 for PMPS, so not crazy high, just annoying, haha. I was so hopeful he'd continue the surf because he ate slowly and didn't finish his meals. When he bounces, he usually scarfs his food down and leaves no leftovers. So confusing. Oh well. Hopefully he won't continue to increase tonight.

It IS frustrating isn't it...they go up..they go down:banghead::banghead:...I'm going to tag @Krystina & Nelli - so she can have a look at Lou's SS - to see how long it takes sometimes for them to come down...and ahem...go up and down...and all around...Lou really is all over the place isn't he?:facepalm:

No more contraband lately? I'm pretty sure we've been keeping Luci out of it (well, one never knows anything for certain, she's such a sneak)...I caught her on the counter this afternoon - I was baking muffins and she'd stopped and apparently was taking a taste of the PAM - hadn't yet made her way over to the muffin mixture bowl quite yet - I'm glad it was only the PAM - whatever could possibly be appealing about PAM...yuk!:p But these cats of ours - just seem to love to explore the forbidden places countertops, garbage cans, etc.:rolleyes:

Luci got a reducie tonight - hope she behaves...it's been a day! Give Lou a scritch from us - tell him to get down out of those high numbers and go to the beach with Bella and the other good kitties.:bighug:

Yeah Lou is a ridiculously bad bouncer. Thankfully he doesn't usually bounce for more than 2 cycles or I'd be pulling out my hair. He's also my rainbow kitty, which isn't really surprising because I love colors and Caleb and I had a "rainbow" wedding. I just wish he'd not show his love of colors with his BGs, haha. It's sad he tried to get so many others down to the lagoon with him this morning, but then left the beach altogether... the jerk, haha.

Oh Luci, PAM? These kitties, haha. So far Lou hasn't gotten in to anything I'm aware of lately. He hasn't been scarfing his food down anymore. Good luck with the reducie Sue, I hope Luci behaves for you. (As if, right?! :rolleyes: Haha)

What's funny is Caleb and I were just talking about that on our way home just now. I actually wanted to switch him right to Levemir from Vetsulin, but I kept my mouth shut when the vet offered Lantus (glargine) for whatever reason. Our Basaglar expires at the end of December, and I'm really tempted to contact the vet and ask her about switching.
