Taco 10/2/18 AMPS 243,+3 250,+6 160,+8 164,+10 215,PMPS 222,+3 330 :( ,+5 327,+7 335,+9 350,+11 310

Thank you all for the well wishes :) How many days at 2.25? before a change ? I was looking back on how well he was doing on a much lower dose and I messed it up big time because I saw blue numbers and freaked, and was told to redude(not here). would that be an option any time by someone looking at his SS that knows about reductions back to a previous dose?

Dearest Taco ? can you please stop thinking you just have to get that pink at +3? Love, Grandma Cindy

I feel as tho if I had known more in the beginning that I could have had him more stable at a lower dose :( I know it takes time to learn all this, it's just a what IF I hadnt freaked out. I guess I'm like Taco :) in a way , I get worried at lower numbers than what I'm used to. I'm learning , but, dang this is a roller coaster. I have a 43 yo son that lives with me still from birth that has seizures , sometimes still 3-4 times a week and it's our way of life here, but, other people freak out :) I can tell you all you need to know about seizures, but, diabetes is a whole new thing for me that I never thought I'd have to learn about. Such is life ;) Taco loves those high numbers

I can only imagine what a whirlwind this is when you have to also take care of your son's seizures. My daughter has low blood pressure so her vision darkens and she loses her balance several times a day. The doctors originally thought she was having seizures, and so of course I spent hours reading stories of people trying to balance medications in order to control the seizures, similar in some respect to diabetes management, I guess.

diabetes is a whole new thing for me that I never thought I'd have to learn about.

I have felt the same way, if only I had done things differently in the beginning, or heck, even this week when I goofed by feeding mid cycle, putting the brakes on her insulin and causing Bailey's BG to skyrocket. Like you said, it takes time to learn.

I wanted you to know that while you are learning, you are also teaching, even though you didn't know it. I refer to Taco's spreadsheet so often to pick up tips that I recently put this line in Bailey's spreadsheet just so I would remember whose SS was so helpful to me: **Copy Carb totals from Taco's BG chart**

Hoping things get easier for you, and that Taco cooperates more and give you more blues and greens.
