very possible,but WHAT IF you do hit the bone when giving a shot???You probably just hit a sore spot....the needles on insulin syringes are so short, it'd be almost impossible to hit a bone if you're tenting the skin
tenting in the scruff always, i try and move around the scruff for diffrent shots all the timeSomeone may know, I've never heard of this but anything is possible. Are you tenting? How long is the needle? Where are you injecting?

ive always used the scruff, never anywhere else, im about half afraid to try any where else as she is so used to the scruff and im not sure other areas would hurt??
