Okay, good. Do you have medium or high carb food? Just a couple of teaspoons and another test in 20-30 minutes. We don't want him to drop below 50.

Well he got back to green quite quickly!

So he seems flat 15min later, he may well have slowed himself down, you could stick with some higher LC if you have some. Or MC se if he will surf for you. But as he's sailing close to the wind I would keep on top of the testing

He sure did lol very unexpected! I unfortunately only have LC and HC but will put MC food on my shopping list. I try just giving like a teaspoon of HC and test every 15 min.

Yes test 15-20min after the food.

@Barbara & Uncle I'm just getting up now got to go and feed the gang so busy the next 45min or so, but can hang with these guys later if you need to get to bed. Btw lovely to see you hope you're keeping well:kiss:

74 now. :D
Give him 20min from feeding I know it's nerve racking, but you've got this.
A tablespoon is quite a lot, gobeasy with the food at this stage you may need him to eat more later.
Is he a good eater?
He is a very good eater. It's his favorite thing to do.. besides talking. Eat and talk :D but will still give only a teaspoon just in case. Will check him again in 20 min

Great, I'd be tempted to let Jack be and test him in an hour from now.
What do you think Gill?
Agreed, that would take us to +6, is that correct Angela?
Do you think you could update the numbers on the ss when you get a moment. It's much easier to keep track of what's transpired at a glance, in case anyone else wants to chime in.

The HC can wear off up to two hours later and that can cause a dip in the numbers, he got a nice bump from the hc, so he may just surf for you, as the cycle progresses and the insulin action wanes it becomes more likely that he will flatten out if you get good duration. The HC may cause the cycle to fizzle out sooner and we may see his numbers rise significantly before amps.

Time will tell

You're in good hands and it's 1 am here so I'm signing off.
All the best to you and Jack. I'll take a look tomorrow to see how the rest of the cycle went :cat::bighug:
