Full Harvest Moon Party tonight, all kitties invited

Kitties All--

Let's gather together, sugars and civvies, for the Full Harvest Moon! Of course, there will be traditional favorites as purrpared by my mentor, Rusty, and the Kitchen Krews of yore at Harvest Moons past:
Appetizers: Adirondack Moonbrews; Shine-on Niptinis; Bog Clams on the Half-moonshell; Chestnut Dip on Nip Crackers; Apple Fritters; Assorted Paw Prints Pizzas; Sushi Bar manned by LL Sushi Chef Tux.
Entrees: Mouse-Harvest Bonanza Stew; Grilled Lake Trout with Rosemary; Wild-Turkey Burgers with Celeriac Fries; Roasted Grouse; Chef Mannie’s Renowned Poached PNW Sockeye Salmon with Catnip Mayo; Chef Rusty’s Thunderin’ Bison Chili with Moon Salsa.
Salads: Butthead’s & Donny’s Adirondack Field Greens and Arugula with Wild-Clover Garnish; Indian Lake Slaw.
Desserts: Moon Pies; Apple Crisp à la Chief Pastry Chef Tess; Maggie’s Signature Cheesecakes with Adirondack Blueberries; Tobey’s Cimmamum Cookies; Surprise dessert à la Dessert Chef Sootie; Chef Stu’s World Famous Catmint Parfaits.
Let's not forget our new tradition, Leo's Chunky Tuna and Salmon Ice Cream with Sardine Sprinkles! And if you have favorites that you'd like to nom-nom-nom on at future parties, I want to know about them.

The Kitchen Krew is purrparing, and Idjit (@Idjit's mom) is shaking out the blankies for the Tasters. The Taster Blankets are a place for kitties who are grieving and for kitties who are too unwell for dancing and feasting (but we hope we can coax you to have a taste). They're a little away from the dancing and whooping-it-up, but there's a good view for the Circle of Remembrance, when the veil thins between us and our beloved GAs at the Rainbow Bridge and we can purrceive them partying with us. If only our dear mommabeans and pawpawbeans could see as clearly as we can that our GAs are happy and whole, now and furever...

Oh, there went my timer--got to get that tray of crunchy croutons out of the oven.

Sootie’s Tribe, of the here and now and the beyond, all paws up that they’ll be there to help with anything needed for the party and to comfort and support all in need. Bella and Dancer say they’ll focus on being near the taster blanket to encourage appies and add their feel better vines. Spunky sez she’ll be early and stay late to assist kitchen krew. Sootie, as always,wants her dessert to be a surprise but divined that she’s been busy gathering bc it will be emblematic of full harvests around the world. Hmmm....Sootie, one more clue please?

Luci has run off upstairs to find a froc to wear tonight...we've been busy today and not paying attention...didn't realize there was a pawty until catching up tonight...
She's tearing around looking for something fun to wear so she can dance wid da boys...she was on the beach today...but didn't get to go swimming...maybe tomorrow...and she'll be having some of everything...loves all the fuds at these shindigs!

Me and Licorice and that Luna kitten will be there to see our beautiful GAs Rosa and Regan at the circle. Mom says I can taste some of everything this time - I've been good and I lost almost 5# in the last year and a bit so I get a night off from my diet too. I'll keep you company, China. I thought I didn't get on with Rosa, and then later with Regan when she was in charge but now I know they kept control in this house and I miss them ~ Roxi

Idjit is willing and getting ready go do. He will make sure all on the tasting blankets get whatever they want, and there will be extra blankets to curl up on or snuggle under, it's getting a bit chilly.

I'm glad today is Remembrance Day, it makes the news of our little Squallie crossing the Rainbow Bridge a little more bearable. I'm going to ask Idjit to be sure to look for the new arrival and pass on our love, and tell him that he will always be remembered, with the other little loves that have passed before.

Mama thought about not letting me come to the pawty tonight because my numbers aren't so good. But me and Bella have all this energy! We've been running around the house having fun and mom thought we should go to the pawty to dance away our excess energy. Whooo! We will be there with bells on! We can't wait to see everyone!

It sounds like the party is in full swing and that all the kitties are enjoying the Full Harvest Moon and the wonderful fuds that Chef Felix and the Kitchen Krew have whipped up. I know that the GA crew at the Bridge is sharing in the festivities as they welcome Squallie to their fellowship. Party on, L&LL kitties! Party on, GAs! There is nothing better than a L&LL party to lift everyone's spirits and to remind us all that Feline Diabetes creates strong bonds.

Sorry! As the kangaroos knew, we're at our old stomping grounds at Camp Stu. Our Auntie Ella doesn't have a kitty right now, so she needs several hundred wildly dancing and noshing kitties, plus a half-dozen blankiesful of quietly purring and nibbling kitties, to help her honor the full moon. But, George, if you happen to be looking for a position as Venue Coordinator....
