Good Morning L , B & L ~

Bubba got dosed 1/2 hour earlier last night so we could go out to dinner and this AM was +13 after the last drop of insulin. I was hoping to start an OTJ trail on Saturday PM as I won't be home to dose him that evening, but now I am wondering with a few low blues if I should or if he still needs more support.

Any insight would be welcomed.

OT: Today is mine and my grandson's Birthday. The celebration for me started yesterday and continues into this coming weekend. Fun Fun!

Bubba is looking really good - all those greens...I'm seconding the vote for an OTJ trail..what's the worst that can happen? He'll throw too many blues and you'll have to end the trial...nothing ventured, nothing gained. What's your 'gut' say? ECID - I'd be a nervous wreck shooting that 1 drop though...for fear of pushing him down too far...that hypo is always on my mind...scary stuff...
 
Those blues are just barely blue and with meter variance could be green. The OTJ Trial instructions say you can get a low blue a couple of times. I think you are safe to try the trial. How exciting!

Saturday is still 3 days away. If Bubba continues to surf in greens with a low blue here and there, I think you could try an OTJ trial. I know you want to make it a solid remission since this would be his 4th try. :bighug:

I'm a bit rusty with offering OTJ advice, but those blues you've gotten are so barely blue. I'd also see what the next few days hold, but it looks to me like you are pretty much on path to give a trial a go.

As you know, I am definitely not in the place to give anyone dosing advice. :woot:

BUT, I do want to wish you the happiest of birthdays! I hope you have a great day (well, WEEK, LOL) of celebrating!!:cat::)
