Yeah she came up faster than last time. She had no noticeable symptom and thinks this is the best night eva! LolOh, I just saw the 77 on her spreadsheet. That is so good!
I am going to do one in another 15 which will be +5 (30 min after the last one).Yay! So . . . hold without feeding and test again in an hour? I think that's what I've read, since she has two tests over 50 . . .
112 @+5 Think we are out of the woods. I removed the 911 prefix. I'll leave down some low carb food for the night.Great -- I'll be glad to know what it is.
C.C.: you be good!
Yeah it's usually 5-6.... If I am awake in an hour I might check her, but I am sure at this point she's fine. I hope she doesn't bounce to the moon in the morning. That's what she did last time.Absolutely! I am glad I was online
I am very much more glad that CC is in good shape now. I think her nadir seems to be around +6 (I know that school has made that hard to know recently, but that seems to be her history?), so I am absolutely confident that she's going to be just fine!
Yes less carbs this time. No honey this time and less dry/treats. She Did eat a 3 Oz can of hc wet, and a few kibble/party mix treats but not too much.I would expect her to be bouncy, but hopefully not so much. I think she had fewer high carbs this time?
In any case, I hope that someone with experience can help with figuring out her AM dose (obviously depending on the PS number), but I would guess <7 since that's what you shot on the AM following last time and she stayed high as cycle -- ?
Yes... And the bounce wasn't too bad this time!Son of a gun! You got through it though!
I use an Alphatrak, so I had to get the number over 68. So a 44 on the alpha was like a 25-30 on a human meter.... So pretty low last night. Luckily it came up quick.Yay! So . . . hold without feeding and test again in an hour? I think that's what I've read, since she has two tests over 50 . . .
Yeah! I'm def good with that.Hey — look at that 359 PS! Not too bad!![]()

Well the numbers are definitely closer. 68-150 on alpha, 50-120 on a human meter.Oh that’s rightI thought you had switched, but now I remember it’s Olivia’s person who switched.
I didn’t realize the two meters still read so differently at the low end. I had thought they came closer as, basically, there are fewer numbers/ a smaller range down in the limes ? But I have already proven that numbers are not my thing, so I’ve probably got that wrong lol.
Indeed. I've learned my lesson to go more conservative when the preshots are under 300. Hope she didn't go too low during the day when she had an am preshot in the 200's and I wasn't home earlier this week.Well dang CC! She sure does like to dive sometimes, doesn't she?

Yes I do leave food out. I have six cats but there is almost always food left when I get home. The outside ferals help finish it up.I hope she doesn't go too low during the day. It's tough when you have to be out the house for work (I remember how much I hated that when I had Gypsy!). You do what you can.
I can't recall (I have a terrible memory) but are you able to leave food out for CC? Or do you have a timed feeder? I can't recall if someone else will eat up any food you leave. That can be a helpful thing to do when you're worried about her going low...having a snack available around nadir means she can eat if she feels herself going low and might help keep her propped up when needed.
Yeah seems she's predictable when her bg is high. When it's lower I will have to assume she's going to drop even though sometimes she does and sometimes not.Hi Janet - glad you were home for that hypo. It looks like C.C. just likes to bounce around. That seems to be a common characteristic for many high dose kittehs.

She had a low preshot tonight. The whole family has colds and I don't want to stay up til midnight so I shot a unit less. We need sleep. Lol. I'll test her at +3 and +4Hi Janet - glad you were home for that hypo. It looks like C.C. just likes to bounce around. That seems to be a common characteristic for many high dose kittehs.
