September 12, 2018 - Closing and Moving Day!

Evening everyone!
I'm late to the party today. Yesterday was pretty busy and utterly exhausting and Lou cooperated during the move. He hid pretty good at one point and I was terrified I had lost him, but thankfully I finally found him in the corner of the closet (in the room he was locked in). Bella was a bit of a terror, as she'd shoot out of the room whenever we'd go in or check on her in between loads. I finally locked her in her carrier (which she's comfortable in) and left her in the living room against the wall and she was perfectly fine. Lou's PM cycle was active, which meant I had to get up during the night to check him even though I was exhausted. Then I couldn't fall asleep until an hour before I had to be up. :banghead: Today was a pretty worthless day for anything, as both Caleb and I are just beat up and sore. We've been trying to relax today, but it hasn't quite worked that well. Lou went from one active cycle last night right into another today. Best news of all, he hit his third lime on the 2.25u dose and he's earned a reduction to 2.0u!! Wahoo!! Didn't quite make it before the move, but I'll take it after. Both kitties were pissy with each other last night (started by Bella, which is odd for her to have that level of animosity with just a look at Lou - normally he has to pick on her). They've been getting better as the day progressed, but I can't wait until they calm further.

Hopefully I'll be on more tomorrow and I'll be able to catch up with everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful night!! Sending vines to all those in need! :bighug::bighug:

Wow, Lou really decided he needed attention, didn't he!?!?! o_O

I'm glad the kitties were okay. Isn't is scary when you can't find them even though you know they couldn't have gotten out. Congrats on the reducie. I hope you can rest some today.

Congrats on the move and the new house!!! Hope everyone is settling in now (it's two days after this post)...I think moving to a new place is extremely stressful on the kitties and I'm surprised he earned a reduction - but there's no telling what these guys will do, huh? Try to take your time unpacking (if that's possible)...it'll all come together eventually. I made myself sick the last time we moved - just couldn't/wouldn't take a break until everything was done (ended up with meningitis)...and lost out on 6 weeks...so all my pushing/rushing didn't help me gain a thing in the long run! Give those kitties some scritches for us :)

Congratulations on the reducie and your new home!!! Take it easy, it seems overwhelming at first but everything will get done eventually. :bighug: My priorities were Leo, coffee machine setup, music, beer in the fridge, internet and beds. :) Have fun!!!
