Question I need help about giving Florastar ( is the same as s. Boulardi ) with other meds

I just started giving Phoebe the Florastar (s. Boulardi ) can I give other meds at same time? Like putting the appy stim in with it? How far apart should the cerenia and zofran be from the florastar? I think I might be doing it wrong. However good news knock on wood she's had 2 bms that were formed and not near as stinky!!!
 
I am pretty sure they can be given at the same time-none are "blockers" like a antacid --Florastor is a great supplement.
I am pretty sure it can be given on a empty tummy too and it has the ability to heal the gut in about 60 days. :)

Hi hun, thank you. It's already made a difference after 3 days. Phoebe had 2 weeks of diarrhea before that. Just wanted to be sure it wouldn't keep the appy stim from working. :bighug:
 
HMMM I give Rico cerenia-ondansetron and appy together with no issue for well over a year-if he needed flora I would add that too --but thats just my 2 cents:)

You can give the cerenia and zofran at the same time. I’d give the appy swim at least one hour or mire later. It doesn’t matter when you give the Florastor with those drugs. If you were giving a/bs, you would want to separate them from Florastor.

I hope the diarrhea stops and the appy picks up.

Thank you. I've been doing it right then. The first day we gave everything at same time but then it dawned on me. Ty

Great! The other caution in dosing at same times is for SEB (needs to be separated by two hours from everything else) but I don’t see you giving that.
