Porto is high again, not sure for what reasons. The budesonide, could be? Maybe it is also time for an increase? Could someone advice? We havent seen green in a while now although we were quite content with the new blues.
He had a small vomit today, acidic tummy, after he ate a bit of grass outside. After that he ate well and is relaxing by the window.

Work that juice Porto, I’m gonna let someone else give advice on increase but wanted to send some encouragement :bighug:and a hug of course

He did a lovely stretch of blue yesterday which may have caused him to bounce a bit.

Looking at the SLGS sticky

After 1 week at a given dose perform a 12 hour curve, testing every 2 hours OR perform an 18 hour curve, testing every 3 hours:
Note: Random spot checks are often helpful to "fill in the blanks" on kitty's spreadsheet. The goal is to learn how low the current dose is dropping kitty prior to making dose adjustments.
    • If nadirs are more than 150 mg/dl (8.3 mmol/L), increase the dose by 0.25 unit
    • If nadirs are between 90 (5 mmol/L) and 149 mg/dl (8.2 mmol/L), maintain the same dose
    • If nadirs are below 90 mg/dl (5mmol/L), decrease the dose by 0.25 unit

You will hit cycle 14 (7 days) tonight on 2.0U. Porto did get a 108 3 days ago. He also took 2 reductions fairly quickly. So I am think we may have a failed reduction here. As an added bonus there is the budesonide.

I would go back up to 2.25u. You can do it tonight or go up tomorrow morning if you like.

Thank you, Tracey!! You are so right but all of a sudden, Porto decided to go a bit green and maybe win another reduction? Should I wait? I will see his AMPS but I expect a low number. What to do, what to do?

Well, just when you have a plan...hold at 2 units and see what he does...that green changes things! I wouldn't reduce just yet.

Hope he starts coming up a bit for AMPS...would hate to have to skip and lose our momentum.

His AMPS are 97, I will open a new thread. Do I reduce already, 1,75? Do I shoot less?
