Hi everyone. As you know, earlier this week Pepper ended up in the ER again. She would not eat, was visibly hungry but was in alot of pain. I knew it was another tooth bothering her. I had the ER take x-rays also to see if she was constipated also. The ER vet (different than before)
told me by looking at Peppers x-rays that she has fluid around her heart and that her lungs look bad and that she was sending us home with pain meds and that Pepper is suffering and I need to make.a decision to PTS if pain meds don't work. Of course after hearing this, I was devastated. I took Pepper to her regular vets office and they pulled the bad tooth. Pepper is eating and drinking and going potty, but still hides a little more than usual under my bed. Long story short, Pepper has an appointment with a new vet on Monday. But I was wondering if anyone here has the knowledge to look at the X-ray and tell me IF there is fluid around her heart. In the 5 times we have been to the hospital and to her regular vet in the past couple months NO ONE has ever said this to me.
