Gizmo, don't you know momma bean doesn't like yellow on your SS :stop:
Iz sad :(. I hope I didn't completely screw up with the bcs dose. In my heart I know I did the right thing but my head is beating me up. His average on both his meters are still looking good but won't be for very much longer if this keeps up.

:bighug::bighug::bighug: As you know, better safe than sorry. But it still is hard to see the higher numbers. He will get back on track. Don’t beat yourself up to much. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Come on back down Gizmo.

I wouldn't blame the yellows from the BCS, Gizmo has been known to do this from time to time, BCS or not.
But I do think, in this case, it is. Both times I decreased he jumped up. I think he is coming down tonight. He is hoovering and acts like he is feeling better. If not, I may give him a itty bitty dose on pain meds.

STOP! Safety first! Lizzie, it breaks my heart for y'all that have to leave and go to work and can't check in to see if your babies are safe. You did the right thing. You will reel him in again.

Thanks. Still disappointed. I think that was one of the best runs we have ever had in 20 months. For the most part he was feeling good, eating good AND was in good numbers.

I guess this would have been the situation where MC for the cycle would have been better than bcs dose? The thing with that is... will he eat? and I am stuck at work :nailbiting:.

That is the question. But next time remember that even with a BCS dose, it is not guaranteed that the cycle will go lower because of the depot and there is a good possibiltiy that he will bounce. Lizzie, it's a gamble. All you can do it the best you can. And he could still be in a bounce from the 80 on the 31st. My guess is that tomorrow AM he will be back in business. ;)

I am sort of beating myself up too. Letting Bubba out side again, then the constipation incident and he hasn't been the same since........it is what it is and we do the best we can. They are feeling well, eating and life is good.
