Lol gonna be a long nite
Uh oh...why do they want to hit the lagoon in the evening? :banghead: Daytime is much better for surfing Bella!:D Keep your water wings on and your board tied to your toe! :cat::cat: Don't want you fallin in now with da sharks!
Bellasmom, When do you start with MC or HC to steer? Is he a diver? Or will he surf along for a while?

I start is at 49, is that good or no, he’s not been a diver but as soon as I say it...shhhhhhh, he usually surfs along shhhhhhh;)

I'm not sure - I start to get real nervous about Luci diving anytime she goes under 100 - because for whatever reason she's a diver. If he's not a diver and will surf with the 'shhhhh' command...go for it...

I had to learn the hard way to give Luci MC or HC if at any time she drops 100 points or thereabouts...it means she's diving to see her shark friends:eek::eek:...and the first time it happened it caught me off guard ...and she went way down - I think it was 35 - before I knew what was going on:eek:...but as everyone here is fond of saying 'ECID' - every cat is different!:cat: You have history with Bella...you probably have a feel for when he's up to shenanigans.....let him surf if he will...:D

I wish I could get Luci comfortable with surfing - but so far we usually have to get out the MC or HC to keep her away from the sharks - she still seems determined to go and visit with them...and then earns a reduction - whether it's the right time or not for that - only heaven knows!:bighug:

I think Luci thinks it's party time when she visits with the sharkso_O...she gets some of that forbidden gravy style food...and she laps it all up! A big treat for her as her usual diet is plain low carb Fancy Feast ... I think she might get tired of that sometime:(...and wants that high-carb stuff. :p When it really gets bad and I can't get her to turn around and get on her surfboard...I get out those kitty crack treats...little nuggets of most likely pure garbage (high carb, nothing good in it, candy for cats)...but I keep a little bag up high on a shelf - just in case...

Get back on your board, there Bella! Don't listen to Luci...she's nuts!:D:D

As fast as he eats it, I think he does it on purpose lol like a kid in a candy store:rolleyes:, he’s acting fine, I’m in my helicopter telling him where the sharks are :eek:and to watch out for them, I have my diving suit ready in case I have to jump in for him:nailbiting:.he can’t seem to stay away from the girls, I tell him don’t listen to those girls:woot:

Boy I sure do hate to reduce just started the 1.5u, last 2x was a failed reduction, any thoughts would be appreciated

Bella,
I know exactly how you feel today! Here, sharkie-sharkie-sharkie! Tee-hee!

Bellasm-, um, I mean Jamie,
I know exactly how you feel today! Including the sick civvie (my man is sick, too; the civvie is more stoical). Sigh.
--Felixsm-, um, I mean Susan

Good Morning Jamie! I saw Bella's SS and he did go below 40 the one time - so if you're doing TR - here's the rule of thumb: one time below 40 = reducie; or three times below 50 = reducie...:bighug:

I hate it when I have to reduce Luci when it feels like we're just starting to get somewhere with a new dose...but that's what it says...and that's the one we go by. You may want to re-read the stickie for handling low numbers (I think that's what it's called)...anyway...I feel your pain...those darn sharks...someone said the other day that Luci may bounce her way down to OTJ:eek:...but after seven months I'm not getting a good feeling about Luci ever reaching that holy place of remission :arghh::arghh: I see that Jade (here on the boards) has reached remission after just two months - I'm so jealous!:D Happy for her...but just wonder why Luci just can't come along at some point and get with the program - it is so frustrating some days...up/down, up/down, up/down with the dosing...:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Hang in there...take the reduction...and hope that that's his way of telling you that his pancreas is healing and he doesn't need so much insulin?:cat: We're in exactly the same place - had to take a reducie and now we're 12 cycles along and she's only been to the lagoon exactly ONCE...:rolleyes:
