Hey all...so it's been a looooooong 14 cycles lol. Emmett has been quite consistent.

I know a regular cat is around 55-65 ...at least that's the range of Clara (his sister)...I've tested her a few times for fun and a reference point :)

So Emmett's average over the last week is probably just a bit higher than that. My iPhone app says, past 7 days is 4.4 (or 79).

Taking that into account, I just want to confirm his reduction tomorrow morning. The plan is for 3.75 iu. Sound good?

From this post on earning reductions:

reduction *earned* when the cat regularly has its lowest BGs in the normal range of a healthy cat (50 - 80 mg/dL) and stays under 100 mg/dl overall for at least one week and following TR.

A "regular" cat is more like 50-80, though I've tested the civie in the 40's. We don't look at the average but where the lowest BG's are and the overall numbers for the week. It could be argued the low blue numbers you've been seeing are food influence, but otherwise I'm pretty much seeing green. :D
 
Ya, I have to say, I've never tested Clara 1 hour after eating :) ...maybe that's a weekend task for me haha

So, 3.75 iu for Mr. Emms. I'm sure he'll be pleased to learn he's earned another reduction. He's beginning to like his ear pricks though...he comes running. I think he thinks I'm massaging his ears because he's a good cat or something lol.

Hey thanks all. Emmett was pretty pleased with himself this morning.

68 pre-shot. He's not usually in that range in the morning...pretty good I'd say. He usually is 75-90 AMPS.

Anyway, good stuff. Another 14 cycles awaits :) ...loooong time, but I know why I'm doing it :P
