So we got a mid-cycle test done today at +5 (almost +6) hours after giving his shot this morning. His number was 345, so it didn't go down much from this morning. Please give me your advice on what to do with his dosage.

I have no experience with Humulin N, but I read in the sticky post at the top of that forum that nadir (lowest point in cycle) can be from 2 to 6 hours after the insulin shot, and for most cats is between 3 and 5 hours after. So, maybe you could try to grab your mid-cycle tests at different times to start to figure out when the lowest point is for Victor. Here's a link to that sticky, in case you have not seen it yet:
