? Finally Eating! but..

Mugs is finally eating! yay! I have found out he had a upper respiratory infection from a ex roommates cat & switched from Purina DM (dietetic management) to Fancy Feast and he is now gobbling away. He should be at 12 pounds due to his stature but is currently at 10.3 lbs. My main question is how much Fancy Feast should I be feeding him? he is considered a senior. I have been currently feeding him two cans a day sometimes some chicken hearts at dinner but he still seems so hungry.

(I'm in Canada so I feed him a variety of Pates)

Glad Mugs is eating. 2 cans FF is probably not enough as it's low in calories. Try adding 1/2 can in between each feeding (assuming you feed twice a day).

Just so you know in your title GA means a kitty has gone ahead or crossed to the bridge. You can change that to a ? so as not to panic everyone.
 
the rule of thumb is 20 calories per pound. So if he should be 12 lbs that's 240 calories. So about 3 ff cans per day
