Going to give him a Cerenia and 1/2 Canna in a bit. Maybe a little pain meds. I don't know what is wrong. Vetty visit for BW at 10:30a this morning (to check anemia).

Thank you. He really doesn't act like he feels bad, maybe painful, maybe. It is the higher numbers that have me concerned.

Vetty visit will, hopefully, be quick and painless, just a quick in/out blood draw.

I hope the Vetty Visit goes smoothly with no stress and with some help on what might be going on with him today.
Maybe the pain that you’re sensing is a factor in his higher numbers today?

I think so. It may be a panc flare but that is usually nausea (vs pain) with him. We are not seeing the vet. It is just a blood draw.

He just ate all of his +2.5 snack. I had to take him to the bowl but once there he ate well and finished it all, licking the bowl clean. He is now cleaning himself.

I am going to be religious with the pain meds and Canna today and see what happens. His +2 read showed some promise :)

How long are sub-q fluids good for once you have started using them? If needed I want to pick up another bag while I am at the vets but don't want to spend the $$ if I don't need to.
