Boomer ate most of his overnight fuds leaving a bit of his +6.
Allen is eating very well (anti jinx) since I've been giving him his "buffet" of food using the auto feeder dish but not using the auto feeder. I give him 3 foods to choose from and there is a bit of clearlax and a bit of pumpkin (as well as p-binder) in each one. He's been a bit more active; although he's still spending a lot of time alone in one of the bedrooms he was also out looking out the window a few times yesterday. And during the day when he wants food he comes out to get us (of course we can't leave his buffet available during the day because of Boomer the Hoover). But....he hasn't pooped in almost 48 hours again (unless it's in a different box, we'll see once DH cleans the boxes in a bit). He gets a cisapride each morning. If he doesn't poop today we will give him a cisapride in the evening too.

poor boy. I know when Gizmo is constipated if affects his eating. I think the epogen (for anemia) is either causing it or it is a metabolic result of it. He was going but small, dark and pellet like. As much as I don't want to (for dehydration reasons) I have been sprinkling 1/64 teaspoon of Miralax in each of his snacks and then I drizzle water over it and the food. If he has had a good poo I reduce it down or skip it in that cycle, if not, I maintain. So far so good, he probably could use just a tiny bit more but the balance thus far is keeping things moving on, mostly, a regular basis. Gizmo has rarely been more that slightly dehydrated (at vet visits) and drinks plenty of water.
