Hey everyone,
The passed couple nights Jack's been vomiting more and more (at the same time of night no less) and in the research I've done it couple be pancreatitis. I'm not sure but we've got a vet visit scheduled for Monday. So I was wondering if ya'll could just shoot me some advice or knowledge bc i dont know what to expect during the appointment. Or at least point me in the right direction.
For those that are wondering he's very clearly vomiting food and his stool is soft.. like two seconds from diarrhea.
He usually eats and drinks immediately after but tonight was different he didnt want any which breaks my heart bc he's still so skinny. I'm assuming his number have been low due to the vomiting and the dosage isnt affecting him much bc he eats at injection time so well.
We'll see what this morning's AMPS brings.

The vet could do a SNAP test for pancreatitis. It will only say positive or negative like home pregnancy test. It won't tell you how bad it is like the blood test.

If vomiting at same time everyday, it's possible the meals are far apart. Maybe a snack an hour before he usually vomits would help.

Here is a link to some info that will help:

Looking at your spreadsheet, I'm wondering if he might be getting too much insulin which might make him feel lousy (and can be dangerous). Is it possible to get a test in the middle of the cycle, maybe sometime between +4 and +7 today?

Interestingly enough we only have him 1unit last night (now realizing I should have just gone down to 1.5units) and he didnt throw up! But his BG is back up to 295 :( so this morning I gave him the 2. He never gets sick during the day for some reason. We also visit the vet today so maybe they can clear things up. Thank you!
