Having same issue

so last night Truffles bg was too low to give a shot but by this am it was over 400. Came right back in to line after his am shot. His bg tonight was 169 and an hour later up to 183. I’m going to check again in 15 minutes If it’s still low I won’t be able to give him his shot as a) I’ll be asleep and b) it will make his shot in the am under 11 hours apart. Any advice welcome!

So up to 213 @ 22.30. Gave shot but think I managed my first fur shot as fur was definitely wet! Note to self be more careful when tired! Truffles as usual non plussed by the whole situation

Fur shots happen to the best of us!!

Important thing is just to never shoot again, no matter how sure you are that it was a fur shot....I've seen so many cats earn reductions when their mama was sure it was a furshot!
