By 10pm last night she recovered. The methimazole only lasts 12 hours, so that nailed it enough for me.

Jane, civie, is hyper-T, for 2 and a half years. She was prescribed the ear gel, but she hid, so that didn't work. We went to y/d.

I save everything, so still had her ear gel in the frig. I'm using it. I hope it's still got some juice, but no way I'm using the pill form again.

I'm P-binding her food, so that also helps. She scared me silly yesterday, and now she's prancing about as if yesterday never happened.:cat:

We live in the Great Hills area just north of the Arboretum. We received a hard rain for about 20 minutes, then it all went away. But we probably received 1/2 to 1.0 inches from it. That means I don't have to water for 2 days!

So you had a nice deluge! Congrats on your rest from watering.
It seems to be resting here for a while.

Yeah ! Yeah! Yeah ! Cartwheels in the kitchen for you and TiTi :bighug: And yuck on y/d ... super high in carbs . Elmo was on it before and I believe it contributed to the FD :( Such great news !!!!! :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Doin the happy dance for ya :D

I'm soo relieved. I think stomach aches really knock it out of our fur babies. She's eating a lot, though not as much as usual, so perhaps the medicine is helping already. But never again will she need to take those pills. The nausea and vomiting are the most often reported side effects of Methimazole.

?????? Three hours from PMPS, and I'm inclined to reduce from 3,5. She's hit the high forties twice now, so 3.5 seems like risk. Dunno whether to go back to 3.25, which I find impossible to measure, or return to 3. ????????

If it were me, I would reduce. At least for 6 cycles and until her eating picks back up (to normal). I am sure you are exhausted and TiTi could use a bit of a rest too.
