I am beyond frustrated with today's numbers. I even upped the R dose and he just wanted to hang yellow... Ugh. I do NOT want to break back into those colors. However, I feel a lot had to do with the extreme amount of activity that was going on in my house today. I had a lot of company over because my friend is leaving for home on Sunday, so we did one last hurray...

It was a crazy day of grocery shopping, cooking, visiting, playing in the pool, eating, kids, and shouting. He is so not used to that. Normally, it is just me and the 3 boys. It is always super quite and the routine never really changes.. I am almost positive that is what kicked off this recent bout of yellows. I am hoping that is what did it.

He is acting perfectly normal, if not a bit touchy from agitated stress. He is handling the raw better than I could have ever imagined. He is not constipated and his bladder is not distended. I imagine that his numbers will calm down over night. In fact, that is why I did not give more R. If he is still high in the morning then I will rev up the R a bit...

I agree with Wendy and Gill. When I have activity and company, Bubba's numbers always go up. Another thing, has he pooped recently? Constipation always inflates Bubba's numbers and being stressed out could effect that department as well. Hang tight! :bighug:

It's just one cycle. :bighug: Worry about trends, not what happens on one day. Pig has had a lot happening in his life.
Your entirely right and I know you are... :) I just can't get the whole brain swelling thing out of my head.. :oops: However, with the way he is acting that has to be a non-issue right now.... It can always be the acro, itself, kicking in... I just need to take a breath.. :confused:

Wise words from Wendy.

George runs higher when we have vidivisi round, especially if there are kids running around.

:bighug::bighug::bighug:
I agree.… I am only frustrated because I don't like seeing those yellows again and I feel like it is my fault somehow... That and the whole idea of brain swelling from the SRT is always on the back of my mind. However, I am taking it slowly with him. I won't let him feel my frustration. I just feel so bad for him...

Pig is doing well considering everything in the last 2 weeks.
Yes he has and I am glad that others are wise enough to see that and remind me of it, for sure! :bighug::) I do admit, I get so focused on his 'cure' that I forget a bit that he is not a number!! Either way, he seems to be feeling much better if not more hungry. That is to be expected! Thank you so much!! :bighug::bighug::bighug: It really does help to hear it from someone else and snap my overactive imagination back into reality! :oops:

I think that is part of what is freaking me out a bit... I can safely say he is not constipated at all. His digestion and bladder have been so on point the past couple weeks that I am in awe with how amazing he is doing!! His bladder has not felt this great in many, many months! It could be a whole host of things.. But, I think the activity of the past two weeks has really taken a toll and he needs his routine back. These boys are set in their ways and it has been pretty different for a bit now.. Thank you! This board really does help me keep my mind on straight and for Pig that is invaluable. I seriously do appreciate all the sage advice and @Wendy&Neko and everyone else's advice is so totally priceless. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

:bighug::bighug:I would be a wreck too! A rowdy house with people, kids yelling:rolleyes: that'll make anyone's BG rise I imagine. Pig's numbers will get back to where they were. Perhaps more juice, perhaps not. Think of it this way, at least his numbers were blue and green for your fantabulous adventure;) Would have put a whole other layer of anxiety had Pig been yellow or eeek pink:p while on the road.

You got this:bighug:

Can you please add a line before 5/18 and highlight it as SRT? Then when we scroll it will remind us of the new baseline.

Back when I was keeping Leo's chart active, it made it easier to see the progress of each week (2016/2017. Yes, I'm lazy now. I don't retype his numbers into the google sheet since they don't really change very much anymore.
