When he drops below 50.

Holding onto a dose that is consistently getting him into that nice healthy range is the object of TR.
If he was really ready for it the MC would have likely not kept him from dropping below 50. If you had to fight to keep him from dropping below 50, constant MC and HC then maybe a reduction would be wise.
But just the 1tsp of gravy mixed in with his LC, is not really fighting hard, but it may have just done the trick of allowing him to surf along and get more used to be in green.

Ask as many questions as you need to that's what we are all here for.

I have to go out and finish off in the garden, I'll post some links to some interesting posts about food steering, reductions etc that you might find help your understanding of TR and earning reductions.

These 2 are BFF’s that is Andy my eldest he will be 19 in Nov. with Bella

Bella used to clean around Andy’s ears so much Andy would be bald there and I had to make something to put on Andy to stop bella from cleaning him all the time, I use Andy if Bella is scared of something cause if he sees that Andy is ok with it he is too
 
Such a lovely run in nice numbers though. :cool::D 17 hours+ and he cleared the bounce pretty sharpish too, it's all progress. :)
Surfed the early part of the cycle quite nicely with that little bit of food you gave him, good job team Bella.
