Good Morning L & L ~

Status Quo here. Bubba is hanging in the 50's a lot. He was a good boy yesterday and hung in the 60's before I had to leave for the day helping me to be more comfortable with leaving.

OT:

Forrest continues his shenanigans with peeping inappropriately. I have been wondering why Bubba stopped sleeping on his favorite sample piece of carpeting in the basement and yesterday I found out why. Forrest has been peeing on it! And last night I found pee in my mater bath. UGH  This morning he woke me up at 3:30 crying, so I picked him up and put him in the box. He wanted to jump out at first, but I held him in and he started peeing. I have made him an appointment to go see the IM specialist that is an hour away. I had cancelled the appointment last month as I wanted to get the urinalysis done first to have all the info needed. Then Bubba took priority.

Oh these cats...

Vines to all Kitties and Beans in need.

My main concern is if the cyst around his kidney is causing him discomfort and thus all the inappropriate peeing
oh no! You might be on to something and glad you're going to the IM vetty (although they are my least favorite to see) and hopefully you like yours. I'm prone to cysts in that region which causes frequent urination and difficulty of empting the bladder. The cysts can put pressure on the bladder. Did your regular vet do an U/S? What did they say about the cyst?

Keep surfing Bubbs.

Poor Forrest! I would put money on the cyst too, especially since cats are such fastidious creatures. I doubt that he wants to keep peeing everywhere. Hope you can get an appointment quickly. Go Bubbs!

I'm glad Bubba is doing well. I hope you can get Forrest in to see the IM soon. Sorry he is peeing everywhere again. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh, wow! Maybe this is the problem. Thanks for sharing how you can't completely empty your bladder. It explains this : When I took him for the urinalysis, he peed in the carrier on the way there. They said they would see if he happened to have any urine still in the bladder and he did and they said they were shocked at just how much because they saw the volume in the carrier! The poor boy! I've been trying to be patient with him but sometimes I get so frustrated at him.

The radiologist that did the US said that it is a peri -renal pseudo cyst and they are benign and can be drained but the fluid will come back. Maybe it's something that I will have to do periodically to keep him comfy.

I needed a Tuesday or Thursday when SIL is here to be with Mom so the appt. is May 29th. I could of had one next week but it was at 9AM and I would be caught in rush hour traffic and make an one trip become 1 1/2 hours.

Nice to see Bubba surfing again:D and feeling better :bighug:

Oh dear, Forrest:(. Hoping all gets sorted out soon.

For awhile I had a small rug at bottom of stairs. One day I realized that it felt squishy....yep....somebody had pee’d right through it. When Steve noticed that the rug was gone, he asked why. “Somebody pee’d on it,” sez me. “Wasn’t me,” sez he. :nailbiting:

Also, May 29th is Spunky’s follow-up Vetty Visit, too;).
Vines and :bighug:❤️:bighug:
