Another good morning so far! Appy came back overnight and he's meowing frantically for fudz this morning. No liqui-poo overnight.

And the bounce is breaking quickly. I guess the full moon wasn't as exciting as he thought it would be.

Today we're continuing all meds and working back to regular shot/feeding times.

Congrats on the reducie Floyd!

He likes the drama, I'm glad he decided the moon is not all its cracked up to be. I hope he learns to love the beach and spends more time at the lagoon, but at the shallow end, playing with the sharks is stressful on the bean.

BTW although I know his appy has been a bit all over the place, looking at the ss there seems to be a noticeable shift in the colour scheme;) I like the change.

There you are, Floyd, welcome back!

So relieved to hear appy is back and no liqui-poo! I guess you could talk poo shop at work! :joyful:

I would keep on the Cerenia or whatever was working for a couple days until you are sure he’s over the hump. Had a similar episode with Asia and I thought all was well and then the meds wore off (right after I gave a full shot of insulin, naturally) and it was so hard to get the nausea back under control again...was up all night squirting Karo in her mouth since she wouldn’t eat and her numbers were dropping.

Keep feeling better Floyd, much nicer outfit choice today, maybe something in blue or dark green later?

Yeah for good appy! Nothing worse than when a cat with good appy stops eating. :(

I do like that there are less of the darker colours on the Lev part of the SS. :)

Yes, I agree on both counts!!

Right now his schedule is way off, so I am feeding him small amounts at weird times in the cycle. Otherwise, he's underfoot for several hours! Hopefully, I can continue to get him back to his regular time.

One thought, rather than just work his shot time back slowly, you could just skip one and resume at normal time the following shot. Sort of like 18 hours between shots, one time only. I would pick a time when it's convenient to maybe give 0.25 u R in the later part of the cycle to keep the numbers from being too horrible.

Oh, good! That will work, thanks!! :)

I'll give his dose tonight, then skip tomorrow morning. That way, I can be monitoring him tomorrow afternoon and give the R then if needed.

Yeah for good appy and no diarrhea! Working back to the regular schedule can take forever when you are hours off. I did exactly what Wendy suggested above one time just for less stress on me.
