Started Levemir last night, so this is our 2nd cycle.

Wow! Nice start out of the gate for Floyd. I hope that the Lev will be just the right insulin to get him to retire from the space program.

I’d also get @Wendy&Neko ’s take on when you should increase and by how much, we always start conservative when changing insulins just in case, but you don’t want him hanging out in the sludge longer than necessary either.

I too hope he hangs up his space helmet for a more grounded career. Perhaps a catnip farmer? I think he’d like that.

Lantus depot is depleting, Lev's depot is building so not much to read in e first couple of cycles. However, it at the end of cycle 4 you see nothing but above 300, I would go ahead and increase by 0.5 units. And I would keep fast tracking (increasing every four cycles), until you see yellow.

Just putting that challenge out there Floyd, let's see you respond.

Are you noticing any difference with the Lev shots vs, Lantus?
