Took small decrease and will see where this takes us.

Tux and PJ are wild this morning. Poor Tripper is the victim. Tux has been banned to the basement, the barrier is up to keep PJ away from Trip so she can use a box and eat in peace for awhile. Using Jackson Galaxy Peacetime remedy for 3 of them, and rescue remedy for Trip so far it's not working but it takes time to.

Trying to keep these kitties on a feeding schedule but hubby keeps interrupting it by feeding whenever. How these cats are not overweight is beyond me.

Maybe DH needs a project like building a lil catio for the wild ones since the weather is getting better :p:p Olive got right back to business last night! Good luck with the reducie.....nice and easy now

Would love if he would build one. Do you think the reducies was the thing to do so quick? It's confusing wait for 3 drops or if newly diagnosed 1 drop under 50. That's why I only did the 0.25. I know I can go back up. She already dropped a 100 pts this morning.

Newly diagnosed you do want to take a reducie with 1 under 50 or until she shows she doesn't hold reducies well and then you can consider the 3 & under before reducing. I hemmed and hawed in my thinking about it since she was barely under 50 and seemed she came up easily with LC. However, you have quite a large depot to deal with and are in unchartered territory with her. Plus not really knowing if there is Acro or IAA in the mix. She'll let you know if the .25u decrease was enough and what works this time might not the next of course. Remember it can take 4-6 cycles for the depot to drain just like it takes that long for it to fill.

I'm struggling a bit on when her onset is. I do see quite a bit of drop happening between +4 and +5 on some cycles  Just keep following her lead.

It seems her onset can be whenever she wants it to be. It seems to be mostly 4-6. But then there's a few later and I think 1 or 2 at +3. She hasn't really settled into any pattern yet.

Never trust a cat! :D:cat: It's probably still the larger depot talking.

As for size of dose changes, you have to learn what works for Olive. Some high dosers are sensitive to small changes, my Neko was, but some aren't. My usual suggestion is to try the conservative approach to reductions first, due to the larger depot, then gather data and decide if that is going to work. Since you've already started with a 0.25 u reduction, I would see where she goes with it, but the first four or so cycles at this dose could still feel the 8.5 u depot.
