Hi Everyone !
Long time no see my dear FDMB friends, how's everybody around here ? Hope all kitties are doing alright.
Small Kitty is doing alright, after his journey with the pet sitter that nearly ended with an escape in the wild he's going up and down with the wind. Good thing is that he hasn't gone into the red for a while, the strategy to push his system in the light green seems to have brought good results. The sadness and deception of getting high numbers is gone, yellows are killed pretty quickly. The juice management is now on idle, I'm happy with the way things are. The juice management gymnastic is on halt as far as it stays that way with sporadic yellows.
The kitty file is quiet, on park, but some other things are not. As some might know, since more than a year now there is a cross border (geographic) relation between Amanda ( @Osha ) and myself. Cross border ??? Yeah, Amanda is in DC (US) and I'm in Montreal (Qc), the 600 miles distance has been showing itself for quite some time. Even with a trip to see each other every 3-4 months or so it's hard. Something had to be done, HangOut and Skype day and night could not do miracle. Had to jump, no escape.
On Sunday, April first 2018 I asked Amanda to become her husband so she could be my wife. One the biggest hug followed and a little bit more
. (long story below). There is a huge load of paperwork ahead of us so we could make our life under the same roof (same bed also
) but time will come.

). The place is lovely, people are not walking 100 miles and hour going to work like if their live was at risk but that's ok. I could not turn off the analytical side of my brain with what was to come. With Amanda good selling capabilities this part was ''set''. Had to go on with the jump, tell Amanda I wanted to be her husband. You don't do that while waiting to pay your grocery, we deserve something better. During the last week-end of the trip we went on a trip to Old Alexandria, already better. There was a place called ''the fireplace'' pictures on Expedia showed a very warm lounge with dimmed light. It proved not to be that good.. and looking to find the place had not been easy. We then went to an Italian restaurant, already better.. Still, no good, don't remember why.. Another night where we went with a band playing live music was also no good.. The hotel room was no better.. was past midnight we we arrived and we were tired. The plan was to do it there but it was not to be, the night was one of the worst for a while with me doing epilepsy seizures from five at the morning until the next day after a visit to the emergency to have it stop. The timing was definitively not with me for the big announcement. Lucky us, the night before leaving we went to a lovely dinning place (restaurant) that was kind a suitable for the jump. It was not the one would would see on a cruise ship or on a stage with a big speech but I'd made it !!
