Hello has anyone tried CBD's for their cats?? In humans it helps with pain and anxiety, it does not give you the "high" that thc gives and I am wondering if anyone has tried it or what they think of the idea??

There's a Facebook group named Cannabis for Pets but they've had so many scammers that they've gone secret so you have to have someone who's already in the group add you

(and yes, I'm in the group....send a message if interested)
Hi there! I was wondering if you would be able to add me to this group on FB. Should I just send my name to you? Or email?

@Chris & China

I just found this post. I've been using CBD oil for my cats for a few yrs now. I'm surprised this is the first mention of it I've found on this website.

I'd definitely like more information on your experience with it.

I was using it for Jaxa while she was bring treated for pancreatitis, and it seemed to be safe for her with diabetes too but she hated the dropper of oil so much. She hasn't seemed to need it recently so I stopped giving it.

I've been giving Murphy Charlotte's Web Everyday Plus for several months - I can't say I can tell any difference at all. But I have found it difficult to know how much to give. There has been a lot of discussion on the ibdkitties facebook site about giving CBD in coconut oil (seems to be controversial), and many people there use the CW Everyday Plus in olive oil. I give a few drops before I give his daily pills (seems to ease swallowing the pills) but outside of that, I don't know if it is helping. My vet said some cats respond great, others not so much. I think Murphy is in the latter category, but it seems to have a remarkable effect on other cats.
