Alphatrak 2

Hello all
Is there anyone here that uses the Alphatrak 2 monitor? Just curious what gauge lancets I should get?

I do! The lancets are more of a personal choice. When starting out I used a larger gauge lancet. His ears weren't used to being poked, so the larger gauge allowed me to get the blood sample I needed. Now that we are over a year in, his capillaries have split off, formed more, and so he bleeds easier. We went from using a 28 in the beginning to a 30 now.

I use these. I assume it would fit in the Lancet device but I don't use the device. I just hold it and poke.

I use 28 gauge. Like Janet, I do not use the device. I hold the lancet in my hand and poke.

Walmart has 30 gauge lancets ReliOn brand 200 count for like $2.50.
