Wow, 475, haven’t seen a red number in a bit, @Kris & Teasel again I’m wondering if it’s the ff that made it go up as he usually only eats raw, told hubby no more ff for bella just other cats, I HATE the red numbers also asked him if he was 100% sure he didn’t do fur shot he said he was pretty sure, gonna fix that to and have him give shot in afternoons when I can’t in belly area, anyway curve tomorrow to see where we go from that, have a good day all.

Bummer on the red start. Is the FF Classics? If so it should only be around 3% carbs but some cats are extremely carb sensitive. Bubba is one that is and 3% can bring him up when he goes too low usually.

Yes ff classic pate, he either ate more than hubby thought or a bounce

Bella can sniff carbs and go up seems like, got ff cause Abby was sick and of course the other 2 besides Bella wanted it too and he may have gone back and ate more of it, hubby doesn’t watch like a hawk like I do, I know exactly what Bella eats, he’s the only one I feed in the living room on couch so the other don’t take what portion I gave him

At least you know that carbs can be used to get him up if he drops too low. That's a plus! :)

Re homemade food: I don't know if Bobbie makes it or not but there are a lot of members who do. You could put a thread on the main health forum asking about it if you're interested.

I, gonna assume it’s really good for them

Yes, it is. Some kitties love it right away and some don't. You have to add a vitamin/mineral supplement to it like this one:

I don't know if it ends up being cheaper or not. Most people spend time on a day off making up a batch for the next several days. Maybe they freeze some of it. I don't know the details. It certainly ends up being very low carb and has no extra stuff in it that can be a problem for some kitties - eg. gums, starches, etc.
