So he had a higher AMBG test, but that was about 2 hours after eating dry cat food and he was being difficult to get a test. 2 hours after that down to 114, so that was good to see the carbs didn't stay in him too long. This Atopica seems to be calming his tummy, and we are doing 2 doses of Ondansetron daily for nausea. The Atopica doesn't seems to be helping his itching and scratching though. I was looking at a pic of him from a couple months ago and noticed that his hair is starting to grow in better on his legs, so that's great. I think it was taking out the turkey flavored fancy feasts that has helped. Now if we can transistion him to a better for him wet food :)

That’s good to see. The turkey pate contains poultry giblets which could mean chicken. I know you are t feeding the the turkey but I’m finding chicken is almost all dry if that’s an issue. One of mine now can’t eat chicken so Dr. Elsey’s Salmon that I bought to try as treats is out. Their other flavor is chicken so why they do this is frustrating. I bought it before finding out she can’t eat chicken.

Yeah, that stinks she can't eat chicken. I hope Rufus can. We are trying it, even though he is supposed to be on novel. But it's hard enough to get him to eat, let alone novel. Cats are pretty easy, until they are not!

Sounds like things are progressing for Rufus at last - that's great! Food issues are so hard to contend with...
We definelty have some good things going on! But! Still working on others! I keep thinking we'll get him back to where he was before all of this, but it's looking like it might be a struggle for a while still. Better then a couple months ago, but still not anywhere where we should be. or I'd like to be.
