I like Kris' suggestion!
Another suggestion is . . . test earlier in the AM. I'm not exactly sure what @Djamila does, but I know she generally wakes earlier to test then goes back to bed and gets a second test in before leaving for work to ensure Sam is safe.
It is harder to do--I agree, and even I would struggle with it, but if it was needed I'd get my behind in gear and suck it up.

I think you just need to develop a testing pattern and follow through. Eventually it will be second nature.

I'm having a hard time deciphering Chuck's SS. You feed him throughout the day? And what are all the plusses for?
Even I have a hard time making any sense of his SS.
Yes Chuck gets ove big meal (4oz) at shot time and then about half an ounce of pate for 3 snacks at the same time every cycle. Sometimes he skips a snack or two butt that's ok.
The + is usually me showing the real time I tested him. If it's not on the dot. This is really for my own sanity.
But Chuck's food spikes are obvious on most days. If you look at around +2 or +3 you'll see he's almost always higher than his preshot. Just wanted to reassure you that it happens. It still happens when he's on good ideal dose for that period of time too.
