AMPS=247

6th cycle on 0.75U. Increase tonight to 1.0U? I think I need to.

Gave him the Holistic Select Grain Free Chicken Liver and Lamb Pate last night and this morning - he likes it ok but not as much as the Whole Earth Duck.

Not planning doing much today. I may go to the Botanical Gardens this afternoon and take my camera. It re-opened about a month ago (it was destroyed by Harvey - it was already being redone due to the previous two floods and Harvey just completely finished it off).

Weather is absolutely beautiful here this weekend. Cool mornings, warming in the afternoon (it was 78 yesterday) but very low humidity.
 
So I just looked at your ss. Similar to Silver - blues at AMPS when on 0.25u now all yellows on the higher dose. Why would this be? I thought the higher dose is to bring him down?
 
Hey Lizzie, it does look like Gizmo needs a bit more juice if you don't get a green today. With his eating better and more that could have something to do with him needing a bit more now.

I miss Texas! Your day planned sounds wonderful! Enjoy !!

Gizmo is coming off an infection and possible panc flare. His eating has been off for over a month - I adjusted down the dose to compensate for the fewer carbs/calories. He is now on the mend and feeling better and, hence, his eating has improved (more carbs/caloires = more insulin needed). When healthy his dose is 1.0-1.25U usually (look back to end of Feb and back into 2017).

Don't forget too - ECID (every cat is different) so your millage may vary :):bighug:

I think he will love it - if Gizmo is any indication :rolleyes:. I love it too. It isn't too expensive and it isn't too loose - which is what Gizmo likes. I am going back to the duck tonight. I just want to try some of these others while he is feeling good and at numbers I can experiment with food and see if there are others I can add into the rotation.
