Bouncing can be frustrating when you're trying to make a decision on the dose. Maybe he won't bounce tomorrow for your curve.

If he's bouncing I won't do one. So hoping it's not a yellow AMPS. Think I've already decided to hold dose so doing a curve is moot.

If history holds true...he was higher earlier and coming back in the later part of the cycle. I wonder if he will clear this bounce and keep dropping through the PM cycle and not have a food bump....watcha you think Silver, want to keep dropping?

Strange drop at PMPS but I will be surprised if there is not food hike.

Crikey! So not clearing the bounce then. Sheesh!
But this isn't a bounce. The 293 is the food hike right. And not even a high one as I usually don't get the +2 and he's up 80 pts at +4. So up 80 at +2 isn't as high as the usual food hike given that I'm expecting the bedtime test to be lower. Maybe even blue.

Right so if he usually goes up till around +6...or maybe he didn't go up...he went down. As he was yellow this morning.

Have you considered feeding -0- carb at PS meal? Just a thought really - just wondering if that would prevent the food spike and let the insulin "grab" and build momentum.

He doesn't usually go up to +6. He usually goes right up at +2. Stays up pretty flat and comes down around +10. So the fact that he didn't go up further than that 9 means he could, and likely did, go much lower by +10. Hence me thinking that pink is a bounce. Testing for his AMPS soon.

I think yesterday was the start of a bounce from however low Silver went on the 29th. He may have tried to come down a little bit early in the day and then bounced anyway. It looks like he is coming down from the bounce this morning. He is not used to those low blue numbers (or he may have even touched green on the 29th) and bounced. Sometimes Furball will just bounce sky high for no clear reason (look at this morning) and other times have smaller bounces.

I dont understand why you say he is not used to those low blue numbers - look at his ss - he is often low blue - March 17th, 19th, 20th, 22nd, 26th, 27th, 29th - all within one point of each other - I am looking on his Canadian ss so thats 4.4; 6.8; 8.8; 8.7. 5.7; 8 all around the same as that 7 you are talking about on the 29th. So I am a little confused. I do think he likely did touch green that 29th but even when he does touch green - he doesnt usually bounce into pink. And every AMPS has been high yellow on this dose which he hasnt been at for a while. Its all been low yellows. So can it ALL just be bouncing? for the whole week?
