Is your meter saying 600 or "Hi"? I used to hate it when the meter greeted me in the morning.

My Neko had a fondness for popcorn too. I had to toss the old popcorn Christmas tree garland cause she kept trying to eat it, even though it was years old. But it was the bread products that really sent her soaring high.

Floyd, please come down from outer space.

When I post "600", the meter is saying "Hi" - yup, hate that greeting!!!!

He loves popcorn as well, and when DS eats it, he's like Hansel leaving a trail from the kitchen to his bedroom. The droolers are pretty fast, but Floyd will hang out see if there's anything left. At least he's stopped stealing off the kids' plates - we fought over a mouthful of hamburger bun a couple weeks ago. I got bit, he won. LOL

Bubba too was very private with his business in the box. And, I could never find him in it in time to dip a strip as it is in the basement. I invested in a ketone meter. It's the Abbott Precision X. It's relatively cheap but the strips are ey yi yi expensive. The cheapest I found the strips is The Universal Pharmacy in Canada. It is so much more convenient to test their blood for ketones and since ketones show up in the blood much faster than the urine, I liked knowing that it was current information. I would get both meters ready and use the same sample of blood from one poke.

I've looked at that, maybe I need to check it out again. Thanks!
