I am a little concerned about Squallie. The past two days he has barely moved, and done nothing but eat and sleep. No playing, nothing. He seemed a little bit more alert this morning before breakfast, but now he's sleeping again - which could mean nothing, as he frequently takes a nap after breakfast. It's really hard to determine if anything is bothering him because he's not an overly-active cat at the best of times, but this feels different than just laziness, more a lack of alertness. Guess I'll keep watching him through today and see where things go from there.

I hope Squallie is just having some extra leisure time. I know what you mean though. There are days with Jones that outside of testing and eating he doesn't move. He is just curled up sleeping. Makes me worrried, then after 2-3 days he is more active for awhile.

Lucy, praying your migraine is totally gone :bighug: Prayers for Squallie too , that these early spring days have just made him a bit lazy :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: He will be back to his beans-filled self after a few nappy days :bighug::)

Erms. Wot you mean not an overly active cat .
Squallie has more energy in the tip of his tail , than Ty has in the whole of his body. He chases invisible mousies for starters. Ty chases the back of his eyelids more often than not. He gave up active play a good while ago.

Hopefully it is the change of the season over there for you. No idea but maybe the days are warming up and he is lazing about.

Eating is good. Pooping is good. Real sleeping is fine at any age.

I agree . Lethargy needs a wary eye.

Thank you all so much for your well-wishes, for both Squallie and myself. :bighug::bighug::bighug: My migraine is gone, thankfully, but I'm still concerned about Squallie. He doesn't even move when I pick him up and move him from spot-to-spot. He has had a problem with his left ear for several months and I think this may be the culprit; it has now turned pink and looks inflamed. The drops the vet gave me didn't really help, and they shot hid BG sky-high, so I tried an all-natural treatment which seemed to work he first two times I used it but not this last time. So I think a trip to visit the vetty may be in our future. :( The only other thing that's different is that I started him on PetAlive Pancreas Booster a couple of weeks ago - does anybody know if he could be having some kind of reaction to that, maybe? I am doubtful, but would definitely appreciate any informative feedback on it!

Oh Lucy, I am so sorry that Squallie seems under the weather. About the PB, I did not notice it making Bubba any more lazy than he all ready is. ( all he does too is eat and sleep)

Wondering if the ear could have him not feeling so well. The weird thing is that if it were an infection, you'd think his numbers would not be as stellar as they are today.

Hopefully, it is just about him being a senior cat. Don't know about Maryland but it's been a dreich couple of days here. Makes me want to do nothing but sleep but I can't........

Sending hugs.
