Good Morning L & L~

We are in the midst of yet another nor'easter. Happy Spring, Y'all!!

Bubba gave me a green AM! Yeah. Hope this is the start of something good.

Forrest: He did well all day yesterday with hind leg issues until right before dinner and then again this AM he had a few slips. I am going to order some Zobaline today and hope that will help him. If it helps for neuropathy I would think it would help for this. He let me know this AM of how much he HATES being grounded by peeing all over the master bathroom including on my digital scales.

Vines for all Kitties and Beans in need.

Good start for Bubba. Sorry about Forrest slipping again. Have you started the Miralax yet? You probably know this but when using the miralax, be sure to add extra water to his food (if you sprinkle it in food) because the miralax draws water from the body into the colon to help the peristaltic action.

I started the miralax on Monday night. When I give him his food, I always put 2 tbsp. of water in each serving. Do you think that's enough water or should I give more?

I agree with Judy, at least he picked the right room:rolleyes: sounds like he’s getting enough water and he’ll drink more on his own. Hope his legs continue to improve and he can go outside soon. Just tell him the snow is no fun anyway.

Nice work Bubbs, keep it going buddy.

Do you have low sided litter boxes? When Doodles had bad neuropathy I changed LB’s and added a few around the house until luckily it reversed.
I did put a lower sided one in our powder room for him. Both of the LB had previously been in the basement. He did use it yesterday morning. Actually, it was kind of funny, he woke me up crying so I got up and on the way down the hall I decided to stop in the PR and pee. He popped into the LB and peed along side of me out of solidarity, I guess. Had to laugh. But, maybe he needs one even lower sided. He did make his way down to the basement on Monday night and back up the stairs but maybe jumping is harder for him?

Felix used to do this almost every day. Unfortunately after his DKA, all the ketone testing made him self-conscious and inhibited, and he started going to a lot of trouble to sneak into the bathroom when I wasn't looking. He's gotten a little less secretive lately, but he still thinks ketone tests are really weird.

Continued vines for Forrest.
