Well, sure hop we don't have a day like yesterday again. Seems to be in better mood today, although the pill got spit out a couple times. He wasn't too happy with my bad aim.

Ate about 3/4 of his food. He finally pooped last night, but only a little. Gonna give more miralax today and bought some pumpkin, but worried that he'll taste the pumpkin and won't eat it.

Nice start. For pilling, have you ever used gelcaps? With Trix, I packed her meds into an empty gelcap - that way she never tasted the pill (although she did sometimes spit it back out anyway). That can help make the pilling process easier. Used size #2 gelcaps, but if you're only doing a single pill, you can go smaller - #4 or #5.

Yay for some poop! Trix wouldn't touch anything with pumpkin, but it's always worth trying. Some kitties get into it!

Usually pilling goes pretty easy, fortunately. Just drop in right in the back! I would like to find some of those gelcaps though! I have a whole bunch of gaba in those capsules that I need to open and pour half out in to his food. Those are a no go now. So if I can find those gelpcaps I could split them and pill them.
 
I got the gelcaps on Amazon - I used #3 because Trix had to take a number of pills and the #3 could hold several at once (therefore I didn't have to pill her multiple times.)

This sizing system is backwards...the bigger the number, the smaller the capsule.

Thank you so much! Tereffic idea that I never even thought of combining them into 1 pill! Now just need to figure out what can be combined :)
 
It is a huge help when you've got multiple pills, but yes - you do need to make sure you know which pills can be given at the same time. Gelcaps were a godsend with Trix!
 
I use #3. DH laughs at me and my weekly routine of being a drug dealer and putting the pills together. I have a tray that holds them until you are ready to cap.

That's what I'm searching for now! Looks like ebay is the only place to find the holder...
 
PMPS 278. I'm pretty sure I know why. LEt's hope for a back to normal day tomorrow. 3 days of higher then I'd like numbers.
