Miss P is doing ok this am. Hubby got to test and shoot. Maybe they are on speaking terms again. Slowly getting her used to the clippers, so far so good. Won't be long now. Should I use the biggest comb for the shaver first, instead of going straight to the skin and buzz her?

It's down her spine next to her hips. It feels like it's all the way down to skin. Do I go with the hair or against? I think all her areas are a "no go" zone but we have to do it. We can't take her to a groomer. It feels like one solid mass.

Might want to post the question about shaving on Feline Health. I remember helping at the shelter with shaving, but it was quite a while ago. If it's right down to the skin, I think you need to just shave it.
