I am running a bit behind today.

We started off on a better number and for once, my plans succeeded as he was @ 316 for last night's pmps. I raised his L by .5u last night and withheld the R. He managed to hold his numbers down for the night's cycle. I am seeing a bit of a jump up at the +4, but he typically has a spike on Lev around the +3 / +4 time. I will get another number in a couple of hours.

He has had a pretty rough couple of hours. I think a lot of this and the number spike may have to do with the fact that he has not had a good BM for about 2 days. Pig is usually regular owing to the Cisapride and MiraLax.

Annnnnddddd.... This just in.. He apparently read my mind's thoughts and has decided to urinate and poo all by himself... :rolleyes: Ah, all for the Love of Pig.

I am making a slightly obvious prediction that his +6 will be dramatically lower than his +4 owing to the "just now" output. I probably should not have said that... He might hear me... :oops:
 
On another note:

I am decreasing the water that I put in his food to see if this corrects the bladder issues some. However, I am certain it will not fix all of them as it really just comes down to the fact that he simply does not want to get up and pee when his numbers are up. He is to tired.

Also, I learned a neat little trick from the feline-nutrition.org site... Since I do not have kitchen scales, but need to weigh his food... One cube out of an ice cube tray full of raw is almost exactly 1oz. I am going to start to work this and am thinking about giving him about 5-6 oz a day on food. My vet recommended 5oz, but considering he is unregulated, the 1oz extra should be fine. @Wendy&Neko I thought Pig was a bigger cat.. However, his optimal BMI is 15lbs according to my vet. Which means, close to what you were feeding Neko is where we need to begin.

I am concerned that the last time I fed only 5oz a day he lost a tremendous amount of weight from 15.1 to 13.2 lbs in only a few short weeks. This was the time period when I had to lock the trash can and cabinets. He got a bit violent and would steal food right out of your hand, earning him the title of Black Biscuit. However, now that we are feeding raw, I would imagine there is a massive difference between 5oz of raw and 5oz of canned food. So, giving it a go.

I plan to measure out 1oz and give that about every 4 hours (11; 3; 7; 11).
 
Raw is more nutritionally dense than cooked/canned. Neko would eat a 5.5 oz can compared to the 4 oz raw. If Pig looses weight on this amount of food, increase. Use the scale as your guide on how much to feed.

We are looking for yellow Pig.

Okay... I was not sure if you meant a the food scale (as in how much to feed per pound) or what. I am a dunce! Lol!
I actually do not have a set of scales at home. I have borrowed in the past. I do need to get some for them so that I can know where they are at.
I will look into ordering some. We do not have a store like that in town. We do, however, have a stop light. :D
 
The radcat raw chicken is 33kcal per oz. A 10 pound cat needs 200 kcal. Pig needs more than 6 oz of radcat chicken, especially since he has high BG.
I had Yum on 6 oz a day when she was well regulated, 11 oz a day or more when she was in the blacks. She weighs between 9 and 10 pounds.
