Peeped some greens last night and a barely blue preshot, we will take it!

Asia was hot and slept on the bathmat in the bathroom most of the night to cool off. She's back on my bed this morning after her breakfast. She's still a bit out of sorts but seems better today than yesterday.

I had a phone call consult with the canna pet people. I think I'm going to try that and see if it helps with some of her multiple issues: panc, kidneys, heart, pain, diabetes. The tech I spoke with said her cat is also 21 and has had HCM since she was 3, and her lab values improved and canna capsules were the only thing in the mix. I know it hasn't been studied in cats yet, but they have over 5K cats in their database and the side effects/risks seem low to nil, so I figure it can't hurt to try it out.

Looks like she’s back to business :D She was getting into the 60’s on .75u, hopefully she’ll surf as her body gets use to Levemir. Good luck with the canna, many here have or are using it. Extra scritches for Miss Asia

Thanks, I am keeping a close eye and giving her more food around these lower hours to try to keep her from going too low, hope to push the numbers out a bit on both sides.

Thanks for the scritches, I'm hoping she's just backed up or something and this passes. When her eyes are squinty instead of wide, she's just not feeling right.

I hope the canna works, it really seems too good to be true, but it's also somewhat political, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Stay over 50 pretty Asia!! :bighug::D:bighug:
My ex says the shop where he gets his product for his back has a larger pet section than human section. Apparently it's commonly used here in NV. I hope it helps her!

Well that’s encouraging, especially since they can’t tell you it makes them feel better, but they have to show you. I’m trying not to get my hopes up too high. I got them too high with the bupe, and it certainly does help her pain and her gait a bit, but I thought she would be jumping around again and she certainly is not.

One anti-inflammatory I used for Neko was Duralactin. Not good for kitties with high calcium numbers or allergic to milk, but I noticed an improvement with Neko. As usual, check with your vet before starting it.

Nice surf today. Good to see Asia training you in the art of shooting low on Lev. :D

Thanks, I will check it out. Last vet poo pooed just about any and every arthritic medication out there, maybe this one will have a different opinion.

PMPS was 105, but even if it were 62, not terrified to shoot it anymore because I know there is a buffer as opposed to an almost instant onset! What a huge difference that makes!

Asia seems to have perked up. We broke down and turned on the AC units today, so I'm sure she's happier not being hot, but maybe the lower numbers have helped too. Could she really just be feeling like crap from the high blues and yellows? I don't know, but a strange coincidence for sure. Big round happy eyes and more awake and purringly lovable. :cat:

Where did you find the contact information? This I have seriously considered for Pig. I would be interested in hearing your experience... Or joining in on trying it out... :D

If you go to their website, you can schedule a phone consult with a vet or vet tech. I will keep everyone posted for sure, I have to wait for it to come in the mail.

Thank you!! I really hope this helps Asia. I have heard some good things and the logic is there, it really is. I think at the very least, it cannot hurt to try and to hear many speak of it, it could be a phenomenal thing for her!! Good luck!!
