Good day all,

I did not post for a while but today i need an expert help. Today’s AMPS was the first nice low green i have seen and she had good flat cycle but her PMPS was high because she through up hairball just before her shot, she at just a kittle but i thought it was enough to shot so i shot and at +3 she is 44 i give little meduim carb and will retest in 15 minutes.

should i give her a reduction ?? I think that she is not ready yest and this drop was because she did not eat will before her shot but i uesd to shot before even with little amount of food and she did not drop like today ever!!

Can i have some openion on that please, should i reduce or give her some more cycle??

If you haven't all ready, give her some food to boost her up little as it is early in the cycle. I think the 44 was due to not eating and that I would hold this dose as the other numbers don't look like she is ready for a reduction yet.

Lets see if others think differently.
 
I feel guilty because she did not eat well and through up and i shot even with little amount of food, i did not think that she will drop that fast with Little dose of insulin:(.

Usually, if you can get about 1 tbsp. of food in at pre shot and then you have a couple of hours to get some more food on board before onset. At least you were there to monitor and she came up.
 
Sorry, for some reason that tag didn't reach me.

I agree with Bobbie-- I think this evening was unusual, with the hairball and the appetite being a little off. I'd stick to this dose unless she makes a more convincing case.
